radiografías e imágenes especiales (la tomografía y la resonancia magnética) en casos necesarios, una biop- sia representativa con suficiente tejido que permita un correcto diagnóstico por el patólogo oral, para lograr una adecuada planificacion del tratamiento y evolución por el cirujano maxilofacial.
Debemos seguir enfatizando en el estudio inmunohis- toquímico de estos tumores, para poder determinar la presencia de marcadores tumorales que nos pudieran orientar en el desarrollo de estos tumores y así organizar un plan de tratamiento orientado a mejorar la calidad de vida de estos pacientes.
