biliza la patología periodontal en la zona al dejar los contornos óseos y gingivales armónicos y compatibles con la salud.
Además, clínicamente permite la recuperación de la anatomía dentaria, recuperando la estética dental per- dida en los casos de severa pérdida ósea, sobre todo en sextantes anteriores. Por otra parte, y más importante, y dada la modificación del vestíbulo, se elimina la tensión muscular y frenular que es siempre un actor asocia- do a la pérdida de tejidos asociada a la pérdida ósea. Además, lo hace sin necesitar tratamientos ni técnicas específicas derivadas de la terapia Mucogingival, siem- pre más selectivas y sensibles al operador y al biotipo del paciente. Por tanto, es una técnica que de manera poco invasiva soluciona defectos más complejos, con una menor sensibilidad al procedimiento quirúrgico.
