En nuestro caso, transcurrieron meses hasta que la paciente fue vista por un odontopediatra.
CONCLUSIÓN
Ante un traumatismo dental con luxación intrusiva es importante acudir con rapidez a la consulta del odon- tólogo, y que este realice un diagnóstico clínico y radio- lógico correcto. Dependiendo de la posición del diente respecto al permanente, la actuación terapéutica será más o menos conservadora, permitiendo la re-erupción, o extrayendo el diente temporal. Se debe establecer una pauta de revisiones con el fin de controlar la erupción del diente permanente, explicando a los padres o cuida- dores las posibles consecuencias que puede tener este tipo de traumatismo sobre la dentición permanente.
